With all these horror stories of long-term effects of weaning abruptly
following breast abscesses, it has made me think how lucky we are to have a
breast surgeon here who aspirates abscesses if possible, rather than
incising them, *forbids* the mother to wean until recovered at least, and I
think stops giving antibiotics once the drainage has been done.
