How about including the information about pre-surgical feeding of
infants.  There was an article (with other references) called
Feed the Babies
Susan C. Nicholson MD and Mark S. Schreiner MD in
 Breastfeeding Abstracts
Aug. 1995, Vol. 15 Number 1

I think this would help clarify things if the physicians understand how
quickly and easily breastmilk moves through the digestive tract.
