Dear Lacnetters,

I am a LLL leader applicant with a 14 month old son. Nicholas has had severe
eczema since he was 2 months old. At 4 or 5 months we had a stool test done
that revealed a high yeast count of +4. (I haven't had him tested since then)
We are both on wheat and dairy free diets and are also avoiding any potential
allergic foods (citrus, peanuts, tomatoes, etc.) Recently I was sick with a
sinus infection that would not go away (tried homeopathics first) so I went
on a course of antibiotics (amoxicillin 250mgs for 10 days) I finished the
course last Saturday 2/24 and as this week has progressed, my son's skin has
gotten worse and he has been sleeping poorly at night. A couple of nights he
skin has actually felt wet and "weepy". My questions are 1. How long does it
take for the antibiotic to show up in the milk after I've begun to take it?
and 2. How long will it take before there is no more residual antibiotics in
my milk?

Thanks
