Lactnet,
I am looking for specific information on breastfeeding and delayed fertility. I
have a mother who does not want to take birth control and doesn't belive in any
surgical procedures. She asking questions about how often do people breastfeed
when the baby is >than one year of age to maintain suppression of ovulation. I
really am not very familiar with this subject and have limited resources in my
area. Most of the moms I see are just trying to breastfeed to 3 or 6 months.
This mom is prepared to breastfeed long term if her baby is willing. Perhaps
there is someone out there who can help. She has heard of this from moms in
other countries using it as a natural form of birth control. Any takers?
It's finally warming up and I must say I am being effected! I am begining to
get things done finally! Now, if I could just say that about course work!!!
