Hi All!
I am a maternal and child health epidemiologist and a huge
supported of breastfeeding. Hope you don't mind me being
subscribed. Generally I lurk and use info posted to further
support breastfeeding. I work for a health system with 100+
hospitals and feel that my support has been beneficial thus far.
Nonetheless, I am so supportive as I breastfed my 3.5 year old for
2 years while working full time; Dad is the homemaker. Pumping
worked just fine. Anyway, my second baby passed away at birth and
at that time I withdrew from LLL, it was too painful for me to
continue. Now I am pregant again and looking to become involved
again. I have a qustion to pose to the group:
What is the process of become an LLL Leader or a Lactation
Consultant?
Thanks. Wendy Funk, MS, Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist
