Ros Escott recently faxed me an article out of her Australian newspaper.
Title of the article was "Why bright boys have a breast fixation: study
tells". The article was discussing IQ and breastfeeding. In the article,
Royal Children's Hospital pediatrician Ms. Jill Sewell stated "it is
virtually impossible to isolate the effect of breast-feeding on a baby's
development except where clear immunity to some diseases could be linked to
breast- feeding. But she said the benefits of breast-feeding were only
partly understood." She then also quoted "More research needs to be done and
I think in the next 20 years we will see an explosion in knowledge about the
effects of breast-feeding." I think she needs to be invited to the ILCA
Conference, don't you?
