WELL, they did it ! the MJ rep visited while I was off and brought in
lovely canvas bags and a contest box to drop in the ABM lids and box ends
for the nurses who submitted the most lids BIG PRIZES would be awarded !
They said a local "BABY FRIENDLY" hospital with which we recently formed an
alliance is reported to be VERY EXCITED re: the CONTEST. I understand my
supervisor thought it was neat too I haven't spoken with her yet I'm afraid
to. I can't believe that with all I thought I had done to open eyes with
staff and policy that we could even condsider this It's so childish and I
can't believe ADULTS would be sucked into this scam !It's obvious that with
Wyeth out of the picture the two remaining are scrambling for the "market
share" The reps always remind me they are not COMPETING WITH BREASTFEEDING
THEY ARE COMPETING WITH EACH OTHER but  I picked up a pen by the R--- folks
that read " #1 in hospitals for 30 years" How true this
is............sadly.......A same company rep just wasted another 45 mins of
our valuable time by WHINING about how we don't use a rotation schedule
that we pick up what's handy on the shelf... I lost what little respect I
tried to have for the man who sent staff on a Mother-Baby Planning cruise
to the Bahamas

I'm not sure I can continue my work at this hospital and may have to submit
my resignation but I haven't talked to my husband about this. I feel as
though I've been kicked , not by the reps, not by ABM but by my staff and
managers they obviously don't need me ......anyone out there talk me out of
this funk, a bright word, a similar experience ??????????????
