To whoever is collecting the silly reasons women are given for weaning:
Suppose the final collection were sent in Letter to the Editor form to
Pediatrics or a similar journal, to alert doctors to some of the silly
reasons their mothers may be given by well-meaning friends or relatives.
It could be written as if "we" (LCs and MDs) all know they're myths, but
can give better care if we know what's out there, with no hint that the
advice came from doctors in the first place. Might it get published as a
consciousness raiser when in fact it's Continuing Education?
