Dear Ruth,
John Steinbeck wrote about a woman breastfeeding a starving man in "Grapes of
Wrath" . I'm sure it never made it to the screen version with Henry Fonda way
back when. In the novel, starving folks from the Oklahoma Dustbowl share
what they have; a young woman, Rose of Sharon, loses her baby, is hiding out
in a barn and meets up with this other starving refugee. All she has is her
breastmilk...
Time for a remake of THAT movie!
