Having the good luck to have an in house expert (my husband is an orthopedic
surgeon- spine specialist)  I asked him if rib injuries could cause nipple
pain.  He says no.  Radiating pain from a thorasic disc herniation could
cause nipple pain.  Again it is interesting how complicated problems can stem
from simple breastfeeding.
