   the girl who had the reduction: do youknow anything about HOW they did it?
from what you are saying production is under way.... I would go forward with
the presumption that she CAN rbeastfeed and make sure that there is extensive
monitoring so that if the milk is not available to the infant due to
distruption of the ductal structure... She may well be able to bf....

    One side lopsided:  you know this happens in the best of families! I am
sure that  you will convince this infant that they otherside is just as good!
- though if the prod is down it may not be easy../.
