Hi,
I'm Sandy Davis, a looong time LLLL and mother of six breastfed children (3
boys and 3 girls), ages 5-22. You can guess how much personal lactation
experience I've had! When I had a baseline mamogram at age 49, I'm not sure
the woman believed my answer to length of lactation was really in years
versus months.
I'm also a long distance runner (mile to marathon) who has run through all
pregnancies including a short run during a couple of the labors, a biker (we
spent a month bicycling 1500 miles through Germany for our honeymoon and a
week celebrating our 25th anniversary biking 500+ miles in the Colorado
Rockies), and cross country skier when we lived in central Saskatchewan.
Needless to say there have been several discussions in which I would have
liked to participate but time is a factor so I've been content to lurk and
learn so much. Thanks for all the discussions.
Sandy Davis
