Debbie Campbell, you nailed it! "Birth and breastfeeding experiences have a
profound effect on the mom's identity
as a woman and a mother."  Right ON, sister!

My first labor: hubby not allowed in, baby taken to nursery before I even got
to hold him, was N.P.O. for over 24 hours, and "spinal" was recorded on my
chart even though I didn't want it nor get it. Swore it would never happen
again, to me or anyone else.  Still working on the "anyone else" part - I
think that's part of what keeps me going!

Linda Smith, before Edwin's birth I thought I would be happy being a gym
teacher. So much for plans.
