I have had some contact with alt.support.breastfeeding and a post by somebody
that women with implants shouldn't BF because of "ALL" the problems that the
children have.  I made the point that the study wasn't perfect and had flaws
and the the KNOW benefits of BF IMHO outweighed the supposed risk of BF with
implants.  Unfortunately,I have been unable to find the previous LACTNET
posts regarding this subject to share with this person.  Please email me info

If you were referring to the study done at Long Island Jewish Medical Center
that purported to prove children bf by mothers with implants had esophageal
problems, could you please elaborate on the flaws in this study.  Since LIJ
is
a local hospital, this has generated a bit of hysteria here which I would
love
to be able to counter.
