Dear Deena,

I don't have the reference, but I've read that iron additives reduce the
absorption of iron from mother's milk, reducing the total iron absorbed
by the baby.

Dear Debbie,

This is probably fallout from the national budget battles when the president
and Democratic minority were making political hay by misinterpreting the
Republican limitation of growth rates as "cuts".
