Hi All,
Hey, remember last year right after I joined Lactnet, I went to a conference,
brought my baby and a sitter and was still not allowed to BF him at lunch
with the other women? It happens all over. I think these folks ae afraid
that everyone will be looking at the cute baby rather than paying attention
to the speaker. I also think that when a conference puts limits or
restrictions on BF moms like this it takes away from keeping our babies on
breast and not on bottles. The only way to fight this type of restriction is
for people to simply not attend the function and send a letter saying that
you would have loved to attend except for the restriction against babies.
