A quick intro before my question. I joined this list because I am
considering a career as a lactation consultant. In the past week I have
already learned a lot. I have one child, Benjamin, who just turned one.
He is thoroughly enjoying his nursing, after nearly 6 monthes of
difficulty. I had no idea that there *was* such a thing as a LC when he
was born, or I may have been spared a great deal of trouble. Through
Parent-l, I have become a bit of a zealot, and so here I am to learn
more.
My question is - is it safe to use Atenalol while lactating? It is a
beta-blocker that is often prescribed to control arrhythmias, I believe.
Thanks,
Amy C. G. Scott
