issue of the British Medical Journal.  You will find a paper 'Bed sharing and
the sudden infant death syndrome' by Hilary Klonoff-Cohen and Sharon L
Edelstein, which reports on a study in California.  If I recall correctly, they
found that bed sharing did not increase the risk of SIDS, but perhaps you could
post to confirm once you have looked?
