What a horrible incident.  I can imagine how terrible you must feel.  It
is so difficult when you are blamed for a mistake that you didn't even
make.  It certainly seems to me that someone should have tried to get in
touch with you to clarify what you had actually said.  I wish you and the
mom well - she obviously needs lots of support (and doesn't have lactnet
to turn to.)
