Thanks, Arly, for the analogy to insulin! Well said.
ABM competes with the MOTHER (her milk) as well as with other brands of ABM.
If mom can't or won't make milk, it is an alternative to nature's own. Again,
its the marketing that is the issue. All manufactured devices and products
are second best to the "real thing." Who would trade their regular knees in
for mechanical ones, unless the real ones didn't work? Even the Bionic Woman
lost normal function before receiving the super-hero replacement body parts.
Our job is to teach people how and why to use their own body parts. Amazing,
isn't it, that the "why" part is even questioned!
And now I have another reason to dislike Barney. (was subjected to it daily
when my granddaughter and her mom lived with us. GAG.)
