Greetings Lactnetters from a soggy South Africa.  After 10 years of drought,
it is raining!

Our television service has had a major rehaul to try and be more in step with
the new S.A.  An ad. for one of the channels features a breastfeeding mother
and baby prominently, with the slogan "Come alive with us".  Maybe all
countries need a window of opportunity like we have here now!

One of our LLL members has submitted a proposal to include the rights of the
breastfeeding mother and baby in the new constitution that is currently being
drawn up.  We just need to wait and see if the proposal is accepted as is.
