Hello all-
I am back to school and my prof has *strongly* suggested that I use our
group, LactNet, as the focus of the two papers that are required for the
course!! I would like to request the help of any of you who may be able to
assist me by answering a few questions about LactNet and your views:
1. What are your personal goals or reasons for using LactNet?

Has it met with your expectations?not met? exceeded them?

2. How often (i.e. times per week) do you read letters on LactNet?

3. How often do you respond to others?publicly? privately?

4. How many times have you posted a question ? Do you feel that you received
adequate responses? Did the answers assist you in solving the problem?

5.If you tend to lurk rather than actively participate, why?

6. Do you have any suggestions for improvement of LactNet?

7. Do you have to pay for individual e-mails? Does your work pay for the
service?

8. Can you share any other views about LactNet?

Thanks so much for your anticipated responses. Please BE SURE to send the
responses to me *privately* rather than on the list...my e-mail address is

I will send anyone who is interested a copy of the papers. As this is a
graduate level course, the paper may be publishable. By answering, you are
giving me permission to use your responses (of course confidentially and
anonymously).
Thank you all....Kathy Rubin IBCLC RN in NJ
