I know of no evidence that nursing mothers need to avoid chocolate.  I heard
that there was someone who attempted to research this question and needed to
give the women enough chocolate to make them ill before any effect was seen in
the infants.  This may be an urban old wives tale, but I like it a lot better
than the one that restricts chocolate.

I suggest moderation re chocolate.
