Linda;
anwersing your queries out of sequence i suggest that if one wants to
maintains one fiqure, waist line, hair color, shoe size et al....DIE NOW.
the only food i know of difinitiely is oj. and that is 20 minutes...the
dietician aboard can answer much better what happens when we eat re breast
down and metabolism and clearance..
colic/oversupply....my first question is how important is it to equalize
the time at each breast. MOST infant and most mothers tend to have a
"favorite" side. we weren't semetrical to begin with and won't be at the end.
i beleive that each breast makes a different amount from the start. we know
that let down is different and there has been speculation that taste is also
different so... having a "favorite" makes sense.
if it is essential to give the "non-prefered" breast more time have her
try moving the infant from the 'prefered" side to the non WITHOUT picking up
and shifting the infant...slide the infant around the body....many infants
are very sensitve to body alignment.
