I have heard this for years, used it my self.  I've only seen/heard positive
results.  However, a pediatrician recently asked me for REFERENCES.  He
thought this practice would cause pneumonia.  If any of you have any peer
reviewed journal articles documenting safety and/or effectiveness of this
treatment I will be forever grateful.  If there are no references perhaps
one of our research inclined folks could do some and publish.  (Easy to
control vaiables, saline in the left nostril, human milk in the right.)
