I think most email programs allow for a copy (called "CC" here on
NETCOM) of any email message to be sent to recipients other than the
primary.

I propose that any list member who needs a quick answer to something
that would also be of value to the group request that a copy of the
reply be sent privately as well as to the group email address.

It should not be too much trouble and we could all benefit from the
unfolding case in addition to the person in need getting a quick
answer.
