. . . like me: Texas offers an at-home Defensive Driving course
for us shady (perpetually late) folks: for $39.95 (as opposed to $25
for a traditional 6 hour course), you rent two videos and a portable
computer. You watch the videos and answer test questions on the computer.
You have three days to complete the course. If you would like to
find out more about this option, e-mail me privately. Currently,
Texas is the only state that has this, but it is currently being
discussed in Florida nd California as well. (My husband, though,
says he will bring my rambunctious 6 mo. old to the course at lunch
and breaks for feedings, though, if I'd rather . . . . We won't
discuss HIS driving record). BTW--I got my speeding ticket
racing back to work after racing home to feed my (then 5 mo. old) who
was refusing bottles. Cut NO slack w/ THAT humorless, heartless,
probably childless cop.
