If she can't buy two days' worth of newborn stuff, how on earth will she pay
over the coming year?  WIC does not pay for anywhere near all of it (at least
not where I live & I assume it's the same everywhere.

Maybe if she were required to buy it beforehand and was told that brfding was
free, it could impact her thinking in a very tangible way!
