Hi All,

Have a client in a problem situation.
She has been diagnosed with Migraine and her Dr. will not prescribe a regular
birth control pill for her because of this. Also she is a BF mom, baby is
almost 5 weeks old. I know from past info that the reg. pill wouldn't be
appropriate for her anyway because she is BF. Her Dr. said that the Depo
Provera shot would be fine for her, that it wouldn't do anything regarding
her migraines or her milk production. Is this accurate? I know that some
women do have serious probs with their milk supply with the DP shot, but what
about the migraine? Also, would the mini-pill be ok for her? Does the
mini-pill cause any probs with migraine?

All help and inf, greatly appreciated!
TIA!
Jay
