Dear Lacnet-casters, allow me to belatedly introduce myself. I logged on to
Lactnet for the first time last spring at my son's school--boy were they
surprised to see how much mail came in for someone interested in
breastfeeding! I'm here on my own computer since about a month ago. After
traveling the world as an Air Force brat, then the US as I, on my own,
searched for "home" during the early seventies, I have lived in Vermont for
20 years and have two children, Brian, who is almost 10, and Erin, who is 6.
I have been a LLL Leader for almost 5 years and have been involved in LLL
for 5 more than that. I have met such remarkable and powerful women because
of becoming a mother, breastfeeding and La Leche League! Though helping
breastfeeding mothers is what I love best, just now I am interested in the
development and work of community breastfeeding task forces involving both
volunteers and health professionals. Happy to be here, I am Diane Dressler.
