Susan Johnson, LC par excellence lurking on-line in williston, VT made my
heart glad at a recent worksho when she noted, "It's not our job to Make
it happen -- it's our job to Let it happen!"
It is hard to do that when you have to send the mom home in another two
hours... but I agree with you, KA, mothers have terrible memories of
those smooshing nurses. (One client said, "I hate her!  She made me nurse
that baby HER way!")
