Could someone please explain airborne botulism - i.e. how it can
occur? Israel is on the Syrian Rift, and recently we had a pretty
bad (for us) earthquake that shook up (:-}) the whole country,
but some parts worse than others. Is it enough to feel the
tremors to be at risk for infant botulism, or do actual cracks in
the earth in the immediate area have to occur?
If there were any papers published on this, could you give me the
references? LA people: If there were any news items on post-
earthquake infant botulism published, could you xerox and send
me? TIA, Judy Knopf in Beer Sheva, Israel
