Dear Karen: thank you for not recommending Lactnet to nonbreastfeeding
advocates. We have enough traffic on this list without taking the time to
explain or defend bf to the unknowledgeable. Non-bf-advocates would also
start flame wars ( which I am thankful we haven't had on Lactnet) and by
the time the listowners removed them from the list, we'd all be hurting.

Of course you may expect to find MORE intelligent, gentle, non-patronizing
people among bf advocates, but you can't expect to find that EVERY member
of ANY group to be so. It doesn't affect your position. It doesn't affect
the benefits of breastfeeding.
