Jay,

If this baby is old enough to sit up on her own, is it possible that
he/she is also old enough to play in a sandbox.  I have noticed that the
day after a venture to the beach, which is quite frequent here on a
tropical island, that my 12 month old often has a granular look to her
stool.  I am sure it is from the rather large amounts of sand she
consumes at the beach.  Hope this helps.
