Hi all. I'm way behind. There was a post on the 12th about the use of
ritalin(methylphenidate) in a breastfeeding mom. I have also had a situation
where a mother is taking ritalin for narcolepsy. She's also taking cylert and
I'm sorry I don't know the chemical name for that one. She is currently
breastfeeding a 4 month old and previously breastfed a child for 10 months
while on these meds. Babies have had no symptoms. She gets her medication
every 30 days. There is a new doctor at her clinic who is refusing to
prescribe for her. Does anyone have any information about this?
