I did it!
This week was really special. On Friday we got on-line and I found
LACTNET - yeah! I think that I am going to need a LACTNET Anonymous group...
Then yesterday I got this big white envelope in the mail & I was so nervous that
I almost ripped it open. Many thanks to all the LLLLs and LCs who helped me along
the way.
So now I guess I'd better introduce myself. I'm Norma Ritter, IBCLC
(sounds great, ha?), born in England, educated in England and Israel, came to the
States when I married Glenn in '73, and now have Dan-20ys, Abby-18yrs and
Chana-14yrs, all breastfed for years. I've been an LLLL for 19yrs - it changed my
life!
It was nice to see how I did in the various disciplines (in the LC exam),
but I would have found it to be a more helpful learning experience to have been
told exactly which questions I missed. I wonder what other LCs think about this?
Another thought - wouldn't it be great if the 1996 editions of the ILCA
Membership Roster and LLL Area Directories included e-mail addresses?
