Liz,

I had a friend (LLL Leader) years ago whose cat nursed one of the babies
through a second pregnancy.  It was quite a sight to see this adolescent cat
still nursing when the new kittens arrived.

Not too long ago I was shopping in some antique stores and there was a (what
appeared to be) full grown cat nursing from what I assume was the mother.

Interesting phenomenon.
