To Jeffrey Fouche - my apologies.  I do actually routinely use s/he and
him/her in my writing and I am well aware that there are men who are nurses
and LCs.  I will plead the very casual style of e-mail for my *faux pas* - I
can type a LOT faster than I can think! - and hope that no one will make any
assumptions about any heretofore undetected prejudices on my part.
