Had a baby the other night who is 3 weeks old, still has a very pronounced
cone head off to one side, will nuzzle the breast, cuddle, lick, and take
the nipple between his lips, but cries angrily the whole time his mouth is
open wide enough to latch on, even with the SNS pouring breastmilk in.  He
was born at another hospital out of the valley, and his mother doesn't know
anything about what procedures he might have been subjected to during
delivery or pp.  I wonder if the shape of his head is a clue.

Could he be experiencing jaw pain or other discomfort in this position, I
wonder?
