Well, I've already e-mailed this privately but of course my kids'
code names were so wonderful I must get in on the discussion!
After reading "Mothering Your nursing Toddler" I decided I would
ask Phoebe, 'Wanna snuggle??"
this became nuh-nuhs -- through three kids.
We were recently watching Meatballs IV (Rated R - not allowed at
our house but rented by a spacy mother...). Michael, who nursed till
5-1/2, took one look at the girls' shower scene. Eyes big as saucers, he
turned to me and said, "Look at all those nuh-nuhs!!"

..and this week at clinicals at Dartmouth/Hitchcock there was a bottle of
tincture of benzoin on the table behind the nurses station. Hmmph, I
said to the resident. (We were on Vasc/Gen Surgery) They used to make
new mothers put this on their nipples if they wanted to breastfeed. Can
you imagine?! Oh, why, says she...We were off on a quick teaching session!
