Dear Donna:

If lactose is the problem in EBM (expressed breast milk), why not treat it
with lactaid? (that would either rule it out or confirm that it was the
problem)

Martha (who had a mom call her at 6 months with concerns because her baby
had lactose in its stool and had been told by the Pedi GI to wean to soy
formula immediately. Mom did not wean, baby had a HORRIBLE reflux problem
that was 100% resolved by cranial sacral therapy (baby had flat head, one ear
lower on the head than the other and was 2 months developmental age.
Progressed to appropriate developmental age in 4 weeks with cranial/sacral
and exercise. Once treatment started, never heard any more about lactose in
stool. CAT scan later showed all bones in correct position. Non-invasive.
Done by Doctor of Osteopathy with cranial certification.)
