Years ago I heard Jay Gordon, MD speaking at a LLL Conference in response to
some media attn re: botulism and brfding.  He stated that there were
definitely more hospital admissions of brfed babies with botulism.  When he
investigated, he discovered that the reason was that bottlefed babies weren't
admitted to hospital--but to morgue.  Brfeeding is the one hope a baby has
after contracting botulism, as it's so serious.
