My best friend was nursing her youngest when her older tow came down with
chicken pox. The baby got one or two spots and Kathy thought "Oh good she got
a mild case and I don't have to worry" NOT-- when Carla (the baby) went to
kindergarten guess what she got the first week?--chicken pox. Apparently the
passive immunity from mom allowed the mild chicken pox, but Carla did not
develop active immunity.
