I have been in a similar position to yours - wanting to have good written
material to follow up a phone call or home visit, but not wanting to spend a
lot of my own money.  I like the tear off sheets available through Medela &
Ameda/Egnell.  They are fairly cheap and cover basic issues.  Also the
"Breastfeeding Info Guide"  (BIG) published by Medela has some great full
color pictures of latch on (of course the mom has nipples to die for!) and
briefly covers other basic b/f info including nice pics of hand expression.
 As with most pamphlets published by ABM companies, an underlying purpose is
to promote these companies' products.

The problem is, you would have to have these materials approved through your
LLL district advisor if they are sent in response to a League call.  I
believe leaders can copy and use pages from The Breastfeeding Answer Book,
which has some b & w pics of positioning, latch on, hand expression, etc.
 Some leaders in Hartford, CT published a list of B/F facts & myths for use
in a WIC clinic, which they allow other leaders to distribute.  I also use
the "Kiwanis" poster, which can be ordered in bulk from LLLI at a reasonable
cost.

Is there a local group which could help with costs or an LLL chapter with
which you could share ordering to get the bulk discount rates for pamphlets?

This spring I attended a wonderful conference in Philadelphia, PA for LCs in
private practice.  Everyone contributed written materials they were willing
to share with others, which were bound in a resource book to take home.  As I
recall, Kay Hoover, one of the women who ran the conference published a B/F
resource guide for people working w/ b/f women in greater Philadelphia - full
of phone numbers, handouts, etc. which could be copied.  I believe this was
published and distributed through the state health dept.  Again, you would
need permission from LLL to use anything that was not preapproved.

Good luck in your pursuit - my experience has been there are many LCs out
there (many of them netters) who are willing to share their resources to help
reach more moms & babies.
