Dear Diane,  What a great idea! Here's some more:

1. Nobody's an expert the first week on the job - you or your baby.  Learning
curves are frustrating for all of us until we get on top of things.

2. Feed the baby.  What you feed her and how you feed her are less important
than THAT you feed her.  We can sort out the food and the utensils when she
isn't so hungry that she's frantic.

3. You're the only mother this baby has. If he can't figure out this suck
business, it's not because he doesn't want to.  Desire and skill are two
different things, and skill takes longer to master.  How long did it take you
to (learn to type, ride a bike, knit, eat with chopsticks, etc?)
