I am the Convenor of the Publications Unit of the Nursing Mothers'
Association of Australia.
We use as our authority for spelling the Macquarie Dictionary, which since
its first edition in 1991 has become the accepted standard for Australian
word usage.
It lists "bottle-feed" and "breastfeed" so that is what appears in all our
publications.
