Dear Janet and all,
I was not going to open my word processor (mouth) until I got caught up again.
Last weekend I had a 24 hrs. birth and took my ICEA exam on Monday. I have
caught up to Aug. 21, digest. This is fun but takes time.
Anyway, a number of years ago; Jan Riordan spoke at an ILCA conference and
talked about beginning research on the affect of upper body exercise and breast
infections. I thought no that can't be. The next thought was my own breast
infection. I had a 2 + year old breastfeeding a few times/day. We were out at
the farm. Baby was having fun with grandma and din not nurse as often and I was
on the roof of the new barn pounding nails all day. We both went to bed tired
and I woke up with a 102 degree temp. That has to be the sickest I have ever
been.
The more Jan talked the more of a believer I became. I always tell mothers to
start any upper body exercise very slowly. If She works up to it slowly the
body gets use to the extra blood circulation.

P.S. It would be nice to find out where you are from. Us new people do not
always know where here is.
