Dear Linda,
Well you need to remember this is road kill talking but this is what I found
works. Someone might have a faster way.
When I first got on Lactnet, I had problems with getting overwhelmed. I also
have a sick mother and I can not just sit at the computer to read. I take the
digest and put it on a disk in my B: drive. By the way I have Windows so it is
saved in a notebook text. I just use "lact1, lact2, etc." I read the digest
and star the ones I want to keep. I then go into the digest and block out all
but the one I want to keep and "save as" what ever the subject. If you do not
push the wrong button "save", the original digest is still there. I also have
Word 6.0. I can turn the notebook text into word. I can merge the subjects to
one document. I have not taken the time to do that now but at least it is
better then my hard copy files. You know the ones "To be filed" files that are
still there from 1985. Oh I forgot you probably at least have boxes because you
have moved.
