I think the organism (or toxin, or whatever it is) that causes infant
botulism is not the toxin that exists in improperly canned foods and is so
deadly to anybody of any age. And, re the honey for cracked nipples, you
certainly wouldn't want to use it, whether it's dangerous to mom or not, if
the nursling (isn't that a lovely word!) is less than two years old.
