The Journal of Pediatrics, Volume 126, April 1995, Number 4.
#1 Impact of attitudes on maternal decisions regarding infant feeding
I thought this article was good because it talked alot about
breastfeeding. (96 references!) p.507
#2 Absence of infection in breastfed infants born to hepatitis C virus
infected mothers p. 589 The gist of this one is that it seems safe to
breastfeed these infants.
Pediatrics, Volume 95, April 1995, Number 4
#1 Use of Pacifiers is Associated With Decreased Breastfeeding Duration
p. 497. The authors state that pacifier use should not be recommended
for breastfed infants.
It's hard for all of us to keep up on all the pertinent literature that we
should read, so I offer this as an idea to the LACTNET Group, to mention the
articles we see in the journals that we read, sort of like the JHL section.
